Dirk Hartog Island is untouched and beautiful. Forming the western boundary of the Shark Bay World Heritage area / Gutharraguda, this eco-tourism island is great for four-wheel driving, fishing, snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It has a unique place in Australia’s history as the site of the first European landing on Australian soil in 1616 and is home to Australia's iconic last sunset.  Enjoy watching the sun disappear into the Indian Ocean, whilst sipping on the signature gin & tonic, perched on 600ft high cliffs. Join a private marine safari in search of whales, dugongs, turtles and dolphins.
